Mason / Stone Mason

The Mason / Stone Mason performs construction and masonry works using bricks, concrete blocks, natural stone, and other construction materials. The position involves building, repairing, and restoring walls and other masonry structures according to technical requirements.

Building and repairing walls and other masonry structures; working with bricks, concrete blocks, natural stone, and other masonry materials; preparing mortar and other construction mixtures; measuring and aligning masonry elements; cutting and fitting bricks and stones as required; carrying out repairs and restoration works on existing masonry; preparing surfaces for further construction or finishing works; using hand tools and construction equipment safely and correctly; checking the quality and alignment of completed work; handling and transporting construction materials; maintaining the work area and tools in good condition; following technical drawings and work instructions; complying with occupational health and safety regulations; working effectively with other construction workers; performing other specific duties related to the position.
